Talk: How is AI used by
students?
Are you curious?
I will show you whether, how, and why Radboud students use AI, as well as their perceptions of its ethical dimensions. I will take you on a journey uncovering not just your habits but also your thoughts about this complex AI era.
I will share intriguing insights from a pre-and post-test that measured students’ self-evaluation of their AI competencies from the IT & Society course. You will discover the innovative Jigsaw methodology we implemented, which helped blend local contexts with broader global objectives.
Along the way, we will also review some guidelines on the use of (Gen)AI that have been crafted through this collaborative effort. Get ready to ignite discussions about them.
We will discuss all these results together, exchanging ideas and reflecting on your experiences. Finally, we will look at future perspectives and shape the conversation on what lies ahead.
